Bar Staff required for Royal Welsh Show – Llanelwedd

The pinnacle event in the British agricultural calendar, the Royal Welsh Show, will be held on 20 – 23 July 2020 at the showground in Llanelwedd. Along with an exciting four-days of livestock competitions, with entries travelling from far and wide to compete, the show has something to interest everyone through its wide range of activities including forestry, horticulture, crafts, countryside sports, shopping, food and drink and a 12-hour programme each day of exciting entertainment, attractions and displays.

All Bar Staff must be over 18 years of age, due to licensing requirements.

The bars will be incredibly busy throughout the events therefore you must be able to work well in a fast-paced environment.

Shifts will be approximately 6 – 12 hours, depending on the demands of the event. There may be a variety of roles available.

 

Pay Rate

18–20 £7.76 (£6.92ph + £0.84ph holiday pay)

21-24 £9.19ph (£8.20ph + £0.99ph holiday pay)

25+ £9.77ph (£8.72ph + £1.05ph holiday pay)

There will be staff parking details provided at a later date.

Uniform

Staff must wear plain black, casual clothing. Minimal branding and comfortable footwear. Such as: black jeans/trousers/shorts/skirts/leggings (no tracksuits), along with black shoes/pumps/trainers. You need to wear a blank black t-shirt; however, you should bring a dark jumper or hoodie to wear underneath as it might get cold.

Heels, flip flops, or open-toed shoes are NOT allowed on the bar.
