Kendal Calling - Lake District25-07-2019

Kendal Calling is an independent weekend music festival on Lowther Deer Park in Cumbria's picturesque Lake District. Having started as a 900 capacity event in 2006, the festival is now a 13,000 party with a diverse lineup that spans from rock and indie to electronic music. Headliners include Courteeners, Doves, Nile Rodgers & Chic, Manic Street Preachers, Orbital, Years & Years, and Tom Jones. Amongst the music, you'll also find copious amounts of food and drink, from every cuisine imaginable, as well as quirky art installations, pop-up bars, a market and a cinema.

Bar staff and bar backs required for this busy event.

All staff must be over 18 years of age, due to licensing requirements.

The bars will be busy throughout the event therefore you must be able to work well in a fast-paced environment.

Shifts will be 8-14 hours long (exact shift times TBC)

FREE return staff transport will be available from MANCHESTER, GLASGOW, LEEDS and SHEFFIELD. You can also make your own way to and from the event.

Staff parking will be available, please car share where possible.

This is a camping festival. Anyone camping will need to bring a tent, roll mat, toiletries and extra warm clothing. You will camp in the staff campsite.

You will be provided with food during your shift.

Uniform – Staff must wear plain black, casual clothing. Minimal branding and comfortable footwear.

Pay Rate

18-20 £7.45ph (£6.65 + £0.80 holiday pay)

21-24 £8.63ph (£7.70 + £0.93 holiday pay)

25+ £9.20ph (£8.21 + £0.99 holiday pay)

Pay for this event will be in your account within 10 working days of the last day of the event.
